Introduction to Clinical Biomechanics and Chiropractic Technique I

Aims of the
module:
To provide Chiropractic students in their first year of study with the learning opportunities to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes associated with introductory level neuromusculoskeletal clinical assessment of the human body. This will enable them to master future course work in their subsequent chiropractic technique and biomechanics and associated clinical practice classes.
Time commitment
(academic session 2009/10):
- approximately
6 hours teaching per week (over 26 weeks)

hours for students 2 hours per week (over 26 weeks)
- preparation
in advance of teaching sessions
- preparation
of draft assessments and marking
- attendance
at Exam Committees and staff-development sessions (approximately 20 hours
in the year)
